I have an excess of cables that I’d like move down the road. Yes, some are Component and S-video. Perhaps use them on a friends system or your parents. They’ll probably never notice but you at least know the cables rock.

These almost brand new as I barely used them and were mainly used for CES w Polk. They were made by Frank Dai himself and check out SignalCable.com.

Marantz with Polk SDA SRS 2's How will they pair?

Hello everyone ! I have been using my Polk SDA CRS and I absolutely love them paired with my Marantz 2325 . I want to upgrade to the big daddy Polk SDA SRS 2's but wanted to ask you experts on here how they will pair with my Marantz 2325 . Will I need a power amp? Also wanted to ask whatv the perfect size room for these speakers would be ? I have a 10 by 13 room,lol . Overkill,lol? I am used to playing My Marshall 100 watt guitar amplifier in this room and my ears beg for mercy,lol. Will I be able to listen to The SDA SRS speakers and not blow myself out of the room? Thanks very much for any info anyone may have .

Hello
Here are some pictures of my home theater
The TV is on its legs, but will be attached to the wall, and my CSiA4 will go on top the cabinet. The 2 main speakers are RTiA5
For now, I do not have any surround. As you can see, the couch is against the back wall
1) What surround speakers would you recommend? I would like to have them somehow "discreet" (small). But I can't have them in-wall though
2) What height should they be placed, and how far on the sides? I believe they should be facing the hearing position?
3) I would like to enjoy Atmos, but don't want to install in ceiling speakers. I thought about front height, such as the Polk Monitor M3 II, firing toward the couch
Or should I place them just above the couch, in the corner wall/ceiling?
Are the M3 II good enough for that purpose (regardless of the placement) or should I look for something better (but again, don't want to go too big)

FYI, I will probably go with the Denon X3400H..........

Bi-amp shootout

Newbie to this forum. I just picked up a pair of terrific RT55i speakers...with stands....for $50. Love these! I'm running a Yamaha RX-V667 with discrete amps so I wanted to try a bi-amp test. I set both speakers next to each other; one was single-amp'd, the other bi. I fed a mono source into both and switched back and forth. Verdict? NO audible difference. They sound EXACTLY the same with either connection. Clean, punchy, precise (all good because I can use those extra amps for other speakers). What results have you all had with bi-amping?

Reasons Why Star Wars Is Better Than Titanic

Titanic's big, but it doesn't have hyperdrive.
Star Wars has WAY cooler action figure potential.

Yoda could use the Force to lift Titanic out of the water.

Leia is a princess, a senator, a freedom fighter, and Jedi material; Rose is just marriage bait.

Ewoks throw better parties than either first class or steerage.

SDA SRS 3.1TL

Ok guys after a ton of back and forth on what model to get I finally pulled the trigger.
I scored a great deal on a set of 3.1tl's.

I have a question regarding the interconnect cable.

I know I cant use my XPA-1 mono blocks with these not being common ground.
I have two other amplifiers that I'm thinking of using.
XPA-2 or XPR-2....

Are these amplifiers going to work for me?

Polk SDA 2BTL’s

Polk SDA 2BTL’s

Completely refreshed using SoniCaps, Mills resisters, and updated to the RDO-198’s.
Top and bottom “caps” refinished in a medium walnut. New grill cloth (of course). Larry’s rings, VR3 crossover plates, Cardis(?) terminals, and Nutrik connectors for the upgraded(Belkin) interconnect cable.

I’ve owned these for at least 4 years now and they are out of the rotation due to my 3.1TL’s and a host of other speaker choices I have. Yes, they sound as great as everyone says 3BTL’d do, I just don’t have anymore space…

I’d like to stay in the proximity of Houston, but could be persuaded to meet somewhere within a couple of hours.

FS: NetGear AC 1750 wireless router

So awhile back I posted about having problems with my network, and ended up buying a new AC3200 because I thought my 1750 was SNAFU'd. Well, it turned out it was the modem Optimum supplied, and not the router at all. Well, with the hectic time of the holidays, then my bathrooms being ripped out, I plain forgot about returning the 3200, so it's staying put.

But the router is just fine, I have since tested it and it performs as it should. Since I don't need both, I'm offering the AC1750 here for $75 shipped CONUS. It was purchased new in 8/17 at Best Buy, and I'll even honor the warranty left on it (2 years) until August 2019.

I accept PayPal (gift please) or personal checks/MOs if you've been around awhile, though I would prefer to get the envelope before shipping ;) . This is my first sale, so I guess if you're interested post here first? Easier than trying to keep track of PMs. Thanks for looking!

Polk Magnifi Max demo firmware

Hello! New to the forum and have a question. I recently came into possession of a magnifi max soundbar and noticed that it seems to have a demo firmware on it since it only works with optical input and resets the volume level after a few minutes. Wanted to know if anybody has had this issue and if/how they were able to fix it. Maybe a way to flash the firmware or some other fix to at least not have it reset the volume level, I can live with audio over optical only. Thank you!

I would like everyone in the Group Buy to have first shot at these, I built 30 of them, and a couple guys are going to use there old cases so there will or should be a few extra at the end just in case someone outside the group buy wanted one, but lets give the guys in the group buy first shot..
