Technics SL-PD787 5 Disc CD Changer. This unit has been tested and is in excellent working condition.

Includes generic interconnects and user manual, but no remote.

This is a fully functional pre-owned item with * minor * cosmetic wear from use. (The two spots on the top of the unit are highlighted in the photos, but don't look nearly this bad in real life. The most obvious one is about the size of a quarter near the right rear corner.)

Haven't seen anything new from anyone in the beer department?!? Have we all gone soft and fallen victim to the pinky-up, wining?

So, where is everyone in their quest to drink every beer on the planet? I recently went out on a whim and bought a 1/4 barrel of Founders All Day IPA out of Michigan. Fantastic! I had only heard of the brewery but had never tried anything by them. Looked them up in the keg catalog at the local **** and put in my request. Had the keg 1 week later. It's a little on the light side but definitely an easy, safe beer that most will enjoy.

Just looking to see if the hobby of "beer-ing" still exists around here. I'm in a beer club now and have had approximately, 160 different types of been in the last 12 months plus whatever i buy for myself at home. AWESOME!

Also have bottles of Wachusett Nut Brown Ale, Back Bay IPA, and something I was hesitant to buy but did anyway due to never having one is Killians Stout.

Not sure if this is a warning, a coincidence or just ranting but here goes.............

A few months ago I bought a PS Audio 200C amp. It is 30 years old and I have no idea of its service history (if any) but when I bought it it was dead quiet and sounded great. This thing is is a beast and takes total control of your speakers. You can crank it up till your ears hurt and you still can't see the drivers move. Everything was good until I didn't play it for about a month. Then when I finally turned it on to warm it up there was a loud hiss in one of the channels. It sounded like a ground loop but while troubleshooting I realized I didn't have a ground plug on anything attached to it. I also noticed it got worse after you played it loud for a while. Even after disconnecting everything.

After a little internet searching and still thinking it sounded like a ground loop I opened it up. There were large brass bars for the ground and rails and you could see some white corrosion on everything connected to it. I unscrewed everything (Top and bottom, one at a time) then deoxed or sanded the connections. Hooked everything up again and when I was done and it is dead quiet again.

I was happy that I fixed it but later that night I was reading another forum where someone put an expensive firearm next to an AC vent an it rusted in a couple weeks. Got me thinking and it made sense.......My rack was placed right over an AC vent (with the amp on the bottom). The AC would turn on (a lot lately) and cool the metal below room temperature. But then the AC would turn off and the humid air in the room would condense on it and quicken the corrosion.

Does anyone buy this or was it just a coincidence? Anyone else have this issue?

LSiM 707 Setup Help

I need help with setting up LSiM 707 speakers. My current setup option 1: ran 12awg from Yamaha RX-A3070 straight to the 707 via banana plugs. My AVR setting is 2-channel stereo with speakers set at "Large". The volume at -20db and the speakers sound very soft with little bass response (softer then my old infinity beta 50 speakers). I then set the speakers to "small" with crossover of 80Hz. The result is still soft. I ran YPAO, a bit improvement
because the YPAO turn up the speakers to +7db.

My second connection was through external amp: Ran RCA from AVR to Crown XLS-1502, then out to the speakers via banana plugs. The speakers still soft very soft. The xls volume knob is at 75%. I tried the set the xls sensitivity at 1.4V and at .775v, but not much change.

Any help on setting up these speakers sound correctly would greatly appreciated.

Hello Polk and Polk fans!

I have just bought this system and when I amp the bass volume up it only boosts the subwoofer volume...

This system is definitely the best system I have ever owned...

Please Polk, if you hear me I’d be in heaven just now if you could update the bass volume to reach the soundbar and satellites too!

Small update:

- Bluetooth defaults to music 1 when I leave it to music 2 sound mode!

I purchased a Polk Audio sound bar from Dish Network. I loved it! I now longer have Dish and my sound bar no longer works. Model # DSB1 SOUND BAR, Serial #AM95200517A8523. Am I just out the $75 I spent? Or can I get this to hook up to my Cox TV box?

Signa S1 Volume Problem

I just got the soundbar and subwoofer today. Just started playing music at night and the soundbar automatically turned the volume up 100%. Figured it might not happen again and it happened a couple times after that every couple minutes. Anyone experienced a similar problem?

Edit: it also isn't turning off, neither from the remote nor the bar. And it is not letting me access bluetooth.

Hey, so I've been having some troubles with my Signa S1 and subwoofer- They used to work perfectly well, but now there's no sound at all- It's all plugged in correctly and is receiving power, It's not muted and I've messed with the volume, still no sound. I've un plugged it and plugged it in again, nothing seems to work- can anyone help me out?

This is the pair of woofers that came from my gifted 4312 control monitors.

Aside from a few dings around the edge of the extremely rigid steel frame and small marks (possibly removable marks) on one of the cones these are in incredible condition and were built to last!

Woofers weigh 26 pounds together and will cost $300 plus shipping.

Hi there,

Looking to upgrade the interconnects in my home theater setup, particularly from my Outlaw 5 channel amp to my Denon AVR. Also on the lookout for terminated speaker wire for my 7.1 setup. I am running an all Polk setup (RTi A9s, CSi A6, FXi A6's & A4's).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I hear rumors of there being a shortage or extreme exclusively to the rights to aquire said color in paint. Did the manufacturer go out of business, or like DuPont's R-12, was forced to cease production. I noticed there's matte black, and satin black, and even flat black all over the place. Just looking for clarification.
